Brigadoon Blue Mountains

Holiday Accommodation in Katoomba, Blue Mountains

Welcome to Brigadoon

Brigadoon is a characterful and highly original landmark sandstone cottage – it is extremely cosy yet surprisingly spacious and located in walking distance to the heart of Katoomba and close to surrounding World Heritage sights. The cottage is fully self-contained with three bedrooms (sleeping 2 to 8 persons), two separate living areas with atmospheric wood fires, a large and fully equipped modern kitchen, two newly renovated bathrooms with original sandstone feature walls and luxurious fittings including an extra large claw-foot bathtub and underfloor heating. The surrounding cottage gardens has an outdoor dining area with gas barbecue.

Brigadoon is a short leisurely walk from Katoomba town centre with its fabulous cafes, shops and attractions. For a truly unique Blue Mountains experience in the comfort of your own home, Brigadoon pairs old-fashioned romantic mountain charm with modern day conveniences and is perfectly suited to couples as well as family groups.

Minutes from the cottage you will discover the stunning vista of the famous Three Sisters, take in the awesome valley views at the nearby Scenic Railway or enjoy a bushwalk in the sub-tropical rainforest gorges. In fact there is so much to see and do in this beautiful World Heritage Region. Celebrate Christmas in July, experience the magic of the European style gardens in spring, or enjoy antique hunting and folk music in autumn. We have made a few suggestions on some of the many attractions on offer.
